During the next few weeks the web site will be undergoing some changes.
The ordering system will change so that I can update it very
quickly. A stock quantity will be added so that when I am out of
stock the system will not allow you to order.
I am currently
ordering new stock for summer and autumn delivery. I have managed to
obtain some very interesting species. Note that numbers will in some
cases be low because the very hard winter reduced supplies from some
German nurseries dramatically.
Did you hear me on Radio 5 Live
talking about the Silverdale Slipper Orchid. It is a pity such a
fuss was made of it when by travelling less than five miles there were
numerous truely British specimens to be seen at the Gaits Barrow
Reserve.

Company Bio
Laneside Hardy Orchid Nursery has been run by Jeff Hutchings for the past
ten years, originally as an alpine nursery but since being introduced to
hardy terrestrial orchids in 2002 he has gradually expanded the range of
orchids until it has reached a stage that the alpine side has
disappeared and the orchids taken over. There are now well over 100 species
and hybrids available during the year.
